ETERNAL POWER secures land for green hydrogen production close to Rostock. The green energy required for splitting water into green hydrogen and oxygen will be generated by 40MW of new solar PV capacity. This will result in almost 1,000 tons of green hydrogen per year. The hydrogen will supply future hydrogen fueling stations in the area.
Eternal Power is rapidly growing its global footprint by forging strong partnerships with local groups. In its pursuit of building a fully integrated global producer of green hydrogen at large scale, Eternal Power is supported by different governments. Eternal Power is working on 15+ project opportunities for renewable energy and hydrogen production projects on four continents and with a capacity of more than 5+ GW.
The UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action invited ETERNAL POWER to join the Emirati-German Hydrogen Task Force. The Task Force on Hydrogen and Synthetic Fuels creates a network between governments, industry and research institutes from both countries. The objective of the Task Force is to work out concrete recommendations for the UAE Ministry of Energy & Infrastructure (MOEI) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK). Furthermore, the UAE and German governments pursue to identify strategic bilateral energy and industry projects.
ETERNAL POWER signed a Joint Venture Agreement with a leading local partner to develop green hydrogen production sites at large scale for export and local off-take. The construction is planned in three phases. In the first phase, almost 200,000 tons of green ammonia, a transportable green hydrogen derivative, are planned. The capacity will be ramped-up to almost 500,000 tons of green ammonia per year. In the third phase, additional 80,000 tons of liquid hydrogen will be delivered yearly to local off-takers.
