With immediate effect, the former CEO of EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG will support the Hamburg-based company in its mission to become one of the world’s leading, fully integrated producers of green hydrogen.

ETERNAL POWER secures land in Germany for 40MW solar PV to produce green hydrogen

ETERNAL POWER secures land for green hydrogen production close to Rostock. The green energy required for splitting water into green hydrogen and oxygen will be generated by 40MW of new solar PV capacity. This will result in almost 1,000 tons of green hydrogen per year. The hydrogen will supply future hydrogen fueling stations in the area.

Building the global footprint for green hydrogen production

Eternal Power is rapidly growing its global footprint by forging strong partnerships with local groups. In its pursuit of building a fully integrated global producer of green hydrogen at large scale, Eternal Power is supported by different governments. Eternal Power is working on 15+ project opportunities for renewable energy and hydrogen production projects on four continents and with a capacity of more than 5+ GW.

Ministries of UAE and Germany invite ETERNAL POWER to join the Hydrogen Task Force

The UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action invited ETERNAL POWER to join the Emirati-German Hydrogen Task Force. The Task Force on Hydrogen and Synthetic Fuels creates a network between governments, industry and research institutes from both countries. The objective of the Task Force is to work out concrete recommendations for the UAE Ministry of Energy & Infrastructure (MOEI) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK). Furthermore, the UAE and German governments pursue to identify strategic bilateral energy and industry projects.

Establishing a strong partnership in Vietnam for a 3+GW production capacity

ETERNAL POWER signed a Joint Venture Agreement with a leading local partner to develop green hydrogen production sites at large scale for export and local off-take. The construction is planned in three phases. In the first phase, almost 200,000 tons of green ammonia, a transportable green hydrogen derivative, are planned. The capacity will be ramped-up to almost 500,000 tons of green ammonia per year. In the third phase, additional 80,000 tons of liquid hydrogen will be delivered yearly to local off-takers.

UAE delegation meets ETERNAL POWER in Germany

ETERNAL POWER joined the UAE delegation on 2 of their 3 stops in Germany to talk about the next steps in building up the green hydrogen economy. The delegation was headed by H.E. Sharif Salim al Olama, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Energy and Industry, with representatives of ADNOC and Masdar. The commitment shown by both governments is a clear signal and further strengthens our joint venture in the UAE.

Signed a JV agreement with a leading group in Turkey

In Ankara, Eternal Power has signed a Joint Venture Agreement with a strong, highly experienced and well established Turkish Group to set up a Joint Venture company to develop, finance, build and operate green hydrogen (or derivatives thereof) production facilities in Turkey and other countries in the region with a capacity of at least 1 GW installed renewable energy capacity. More details will follow in a separate press release by both partners in upcoming weeks.
