Europe Needs Green Fuels Eternal Power Helps Close the Looming Green Ammonia Gap

Europe’s ammonia market is approaching a turning point. With policy frameworks such as RED III and CBAM driving demand for RFNBO-certified green molecules, a significant supply gap is expected to emerge over the coming years – while domestic production capacity in Europe is not expected to keep pace.

At Eternal Power, we are working to close that gap for example with projects in Germany and Sweden, and also with partners and initiatives outside of Europe.

We are currently supporting our Indian partner with long-term offtake facilitation for RFNBO-certified green ammonia from a fully integrated, export-oriented project in one of Asia’s most strategically located renewable energy and export hubs. The project spans the full value chain from renewable power and electrolysis to green hydrogen and green ammonia follows an RFNBO-compliant production pathway, and targets commercial operations in 2030, with long-term 10–15 year take-or-pay agreements, competitive pricing and direct export via deep-water port.

For industrial consumers, traders and energy companies, securing reliable volumes early could become a key competitive advantage as the market tightens toward 2030.

We would like to connect with chemical and fertilizer producers, industrial offtakers preparing for RED III and CBAM requirements, energy traders and commodity desks, utilities and shipping companies exploring ammonia as a fuel, and all other potential offtakers of green NH₃.
